MODUAL Backers!
A quick update with some good news from Altum HQ!
Whilst placing the order for our hardware (tool bits, socket heads etc) we negotiated with our supplier the addition of Altum branded tool bit holders - which will now be supplied with MTS!
This will allow those without an MTR to store their tool bits that aren’t in use whilst providing those who bought the bundle even more storage capacity. Everyone’s a winner!

With regards to our production timeline, the changes to our tool body moulds have taken a little longer than our manufacturer had anticipated. Therefore we are still another 3 weeks away from receiving our second (and hopefully final) batch of samples. However, everything else is running smoothly and our December delivery remains firmly intact :)

MODUAL Backers!
Just a quick update to let you all know what's been happening since the campaign ended. We have been working hard behind the scenes on preparing everything ready for manufacture as soon as our Kickstarter funds clear early next week.
Next month we will be sending out our BackerKit survey (to collect all your details, such as shipping address and colour preferences etc) as well an in-depth explanation of how MODUAL is being manufactured!
Due to the success of the Kickstarter campaign we were invited by Indiegogo to feature MODUAL in their InDemand section! We were planning on launching our own webstore (in order to continue taking pre-orders) over the summer but have delayed this in response.

We are now 85% funded!
We thought we would take this opportunity to look past the campaign and toward some of the other things we will be working on as part of delivering MODUAL to you!
We worked up some draft packaging designs a while ago, but still can't make a decision on what colour scheme to go for. We would love to hear your feedback, which is your favourite?

PS. We wanted to share a great project from our friends at Fly Pedals - they currently have an awesome Kickstarter right now for a pedal adapter that instantly converts clipless pedals to platforms for casual bike riding.

We also wanted to share another great project from some more friends of ours at Blubel - they currently have an awesome Kickstarter right now for an innovative sat nav bicycle bell that learns from the community to find safer routes. We cant believe someone hadn't thought of integrating a navigation device with a bell before as its genius!

MTS is now a 14 function bicycle multi-tool!
We have made a slight change to the MTR design increasing the number of elastic loops on the bottom flap from 5 to 6 thus creating the space for an additional tool bit.
MTS will now be supplied with 10 tool bits; the 9 listed on the Kickstarter page and an SL3 (flathead screwdriver). This change will be implemented during production but we wanted to let our backers know that there is now even more to look forward to!
Once the campaign has ended we will be launching the Altum webstore where we intend to sell additional tool bits separately (such as other torx sizes). Leave a comment below if there any specific ones you would like to see.
And one more item of note: MODUAL has been featured on BackerClub.co, the exclusive club of Kickstarter super-backers!
They are a community of people who love Kickstarter and back a ton of projects and we are excited to have their support for our project.
